Bianca Kaplan is a London-born artist of Italian and Turkish heritage currently based in Bologna, Italy.
In 2018, she moved from London to Cornwall to study a BA (Hons) Illustration at Falmouth University, and later worked in galleries such as Tate St. Ives and Newlyn Art Gallery in Penzance.
In 2023, Bianca relocated to Italy and began focusing on commissions and community art, collaborating with a wide range of associations. She leads weekly workshops exploring innovative printmaking techniques using up-cycled material.
In 2025, Bianca completed a year of National Service with Piazza Grande, a Bologna-based cooperative supporting people experiencing homelessness. There, she developed and facilitated arts-based projects across three key settings: a homeless shelter, a community workshop centre, and a community hub.
More recently, she has expanded her community practice to include tailored workshops for vulnerable individuals—such as immigrants, people with mental and physical difficulties, children from challenging backgrounds, and the elderly.
